About

NYC Daycare Check puts the city's daycare inspection records in one place you can actually read on your phone at 11pm. It covers licensed group child care and school-based child care programs regulated by the NYC Health Code. Home-based daycares are licensed by New York State, so they aren't here yet. You can look those up on the state OCFS search.

We don't write reviews or opinions. We copy the city's records, sort them, and apply one published grading rule. We're not affiliated with the city.
